Nature based community peer coaching for physicians.

Nature Medicine Leadership Program

Finding community and inspiration through nature in Boston, MA.

To be a physician is to be a leader. Throughout our careers as physicians, we take on a multitude of leadership roles. We lead teams of other trainees and have leadership roles in our practice and in our organizations. When conflicts arise among providers or with patients, we navigate the path to resolution. We lead care teams, family discussions, and life and death discussions. Research shows that our ability to create psychologically safe teams has a significant impact on patient outcomes.

To be a physician is to navigate change in the healthcare system, to balance our lives with professional demands, to negotiate power, autonomy, personal wellbeing and caregiving, and to realize our powers as agents in shaping the healthcare system.
